: Impressive filly Satin Shoes showed she was worth every cent of her $700,000 purchase price when she announced herself as a potential topliner with her debut win in the City Tattersalls Plate at Randwick on Saturday
The 2010 Australian Easter Sale productg by Flying Spur-Star Satire raced greenly in the final stages but still proved too strong in getting the better of fellow Easter graduate Anevay.

Clarry said Satin Shoes would be spelled with the rich autumn races in mind.

“She will go out now and come back for the autumn races and the Slipper," Conners said.

"She is only in her first preparation. She took longer to come in from the breakers and it's pretty good to see her win like that.

"She is a very nice horse in the making."
