At Rosehill barrier trials on Tuesday  Clarry's horse  Satin Shoes was clearly the most eye-catching youngster as the filly led throughout to win her 900m heat in a time of 53.95secs

It was a clinical win by the Flying Spur two-year-old who was guided to the lead by Corey Brown from an outside barrier before the leading Sydney jockey gave her a squeeze at the 200m where she accelerated and increased her margin.

Trainer Clarry Conners was pleased with the trial effort and plans for Satin Shoes to resume in the $100,000 Listed Widden Stakes at Randwick on February 12 as she heads toward the $3.5million Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) on April 2.
