Clarry and jockey Craig Williams were delighted with stakeswinning two-year-olds Decision Time and Georgette Silk who will resume in a star-studded San Domenico Stakes next month after trialling impressively on Tuesday.
Melbourne-based Williams was in Sydney for the Warwick Farm trials and was aboard as Golden Slipper runner-up Decision Time scored a 1-1/2 length trial win, while stablemate Georgette Silk also stretched out nicely to finish a short head behind runaway leader Actrice in her 804m heat.
."I've never ridden Georgette Silk before but she gave me a really good feel and she's right on target for the short races," Williams said.
"Decision Time, I was happy to be back on him and he's definitely filled out and he's got stronger. He looks like he's in for an exciting spring."
Conners had nominated Decision Time for Saturday's The Rosebud (1200m) at Rosehill but he'll be kept for the San Domenico (1000m) on August 7 which is shaping as a top early season race with Solar Charged, Brightexpectations and Masquerader also set to return.
"He's the quiet achiever," Conners said of Decision Time, winner of the Black Opal Stakes and runner-up to Crystal Lily in the Golden Slipper.
"They both trialled really nicely, I'm very happy with them."
